Introducing Awbody's Yoga
Slow, mindful, subtle yoga
Welcome to this site. Yoga is for everybody, not just in theory but in practice. This is Awbody's yoga which includes YOUR body, mind and spirit.
About Me
Diane Sibbald
I have been teaching yoga since the last millennium! I trained with Yoga Scotland's 500 hour teaching programme and I have further certificates in teaching yoga to children and teaching people living with cancer. I taught, until now, under the name Diane Simpson yoga as, that was my name and it was easier for people to find me by word of mouth. It's not too catchy & also is no longer my name.Â
The Awbody's Yoga name came about as I discussed with my husband what I feel yoga really is and what I felt I had been striving to do -  teach yoga to everyone, not just middle class, high income young, slim, fit, white females, although you are welcome too! Â
Awbody's Yoga is slow, mindful yoga that can help to build resilience in the nervous system. It is 'innercise" as opposed to exercise. Yoga reduces stress, anxiety, depression and chronic pain, improves sleep, enhances a sense of well-being and quality of life and promotes and improves respiratory and cardiovascular function - to name a few! Awbody's Yoga is for all ages and stages. Begin from where you are now and way, way beyond. There is no goal, the practice is the reward.

The two Denholm yoga classes have been ongoing since 2017. Satsang is the sanskrit word for good company and that sums up the classes in the village hall. They are drop in classes 6pm until 7.30pm then change over to next class 7.30 until 9pm. Awbody is welcome to either class. £7 drop in.
